I’m experimenting with finding easier ways to post short items, especially when you’re dealing with a fairly complex, outdated, or buggy content management system. Too many sites suffer from not getting enough content because they make it too much work to post.
On this page I’m sharing items that I’ve posted to the free microblogging service Tumblr. (Here’s my Tumblelog.)
Obviously, I’m going to have to mess with the CSS to make this look pretty and format so that the items are more separated and readable. But here’s how it looks so far.
Also, I plan to investigate how to make this content part of this site’s archives. This kind of strategy isn’t quite as appealing or useful to site owners if the content doesn’t actually get copied to their site. That can screw up site search results, statistics, etc.
