It's a nice little phone, to do phone-related stuff only (ie. calls and sms). It's also a great alarm clock replacement - my newer Motorola Nextel has a color screen and Java (and cheap radio, duh), but it's crappier than the 1100 on every important phone feature. It's also a really durable model... I've heard accounts of it surviving falls from third or fifth floor balconies, toilet diving, and even police violence (seriously, I know people who've received beatings strong enough to break the phone's battery lid and disassemble the phone who managed to rebuild it and phone home for help).
