Boxer called Friday for the disclosure of 44 sites around the country where coal ash is stored that are classified as very hazardous. Boxer said officials from the Environmental Protection Agency, which has sent teams out to inspect the sites, told her that the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have determined the locations of these coal ash storage sites cannot be disclosed because of national security concerns.
