I read your article at Poynter on Instapaper and I agree wholeheartedly that we should be able to transition seamlessly among devices. Content should be device agnostic ... or as you say, the device shouldn&#039;t matter.

But I&#039;m not sure that the onus should be on the news consumer to figure all this out.

Instead, newspapers should be making it easier for their audience to get to their product, be it on the iPhone, Kindle or any other mobile platform. The content should be there on my device -- without me having to think about it, and without me having to consult an instruction manual.

Anyway, as someone who works at a newspaper, I&#039;m confident we&#039;ll get this all figured out. Mobile is going to be an exciting area of development over the next decade, sort of like where the internet was in 1994.
