Primer on twitter for journos. I agree with everything except her last point. If you’re tweeting responsibly, I see no reason to worry about your tweets showing up in google searches. If you’re being a jerk (or worse, boring) that’s another issue…

Interestingly, the net was the 2nd *most* trusted channel (after radio). I have a query in to harris to find out whether they asked specifically only about news org web sites, or about online resources in general.
