Cool little voicemail tip

OK, maybe this is old hat to everyone else, but I didn’t know this: On most voice mail systems, you can interrupt the recorded message and go straight to leaving your own message just by hitting 3.

Pretty cool, eh? I just updated my voicemail message to reflect that.

Thanks to Cathy Dold for this tip. I bow to her near omniscience on all matters practical.

  1. Darn. It doesn’t work with my sprint phone or my daughter’s nextel. I’m going to keep trying ’til I find one that does work. Heh.
