It happens to all of us sometime… A crucial system fails, and you have to pick up the pieces.
Today I learned that sometime over the last few days, my e-mail mysteriously disappeared. And unfortunately the backup system I’d been relying wasn’t working correctly. My last e-mail backup was Aug. 25, 2005. As far as I know, all e-mail I received after that date is missing. Probably permanently.
I do have my sent mail, which helps.
For the time being, I’m having my mail forwarded to a Gmail account. I may end up using Gmail permanently.
Wish me luck. And if I haven’t responded to your e-mail, it may have gotten lost in the void. My apologies, and please resend. Thanks.

GMail works well for me. I haven’t tried the spam filter (haven’t had to…yet).
The interface took a little getting used to, but I like it fine. Of course, I don’t get a lot of mail.
Love & Peace, Clarence Jones
Ouch! A good reminder to check your backups, if not every time, then at least once a month.
