My Updated Feed Lists

As a service to my readers and others, I publish my list of feeds that I subscribe to, as well as my list of podcast subscriptions. I’ve just updated these files.

So if you’d like to see what I’m currently reading/listening to, download the following OPML files and import them into your feed reader or podcatcher…

  1. Amy’s top feeds: About 30 feeds I consider crucial to stay on top of topics currently relevant to my interests and work.
  2. Feeds Amy reads: The whole monstrous list – about 400 subscriptions, sorted into folders. I check these out from time to time. Why so many? To me, if I find a site interesting, it’s more useful for me to store its feed than bookmark the site. Think of it as bookmarks with current headlines.
  3. Podcasts Amy subscribes to: Includes about 50 feeds. Several of these haven’t been active for a long time, but I hang on to the feed in case they resurface.

(See links in this blog’s sidebar to learn what feeds and podcasts are, and how you can use them.)

  1. Good idea, Easton. I just did exactly that.

See: Why My Feed List Is Soooooooo Long.

I also appended a comment to Ross Mayfield’s article.

    Thanks for the nudge!

  2. Thanks, Amy! I think I’ll follow your example once I’ve got a better sense of what my favorite feeds will be … my fledgling business blogging news site will surely have better content as a result.
