Glad to see you&#039;re getting back into it. 

I had a similar problem, although my departure was for a much more extended period. Life, new work, old work... sometimes they all kind of compete, and the blog suffers for it. I think we&#039;ve all been there. 

My solution was to commit to posting something, at least every other day. Notice I didn&#039;t say &quot;writing&quot; something. Just that self-imposed loophole has made it easier to get back into the swing. When I know I&#039;m not forcing myself to write, just post. Could be old pieces I&#039;ve written, could be interesting news. Doesn&#039;t matter. Just so I post. 

Your idea of shorter posts sounds like a similar (positive) loophole. I hope it works for you.
