Thank you for putting together such a great tutorial on blog posting formats.  It is the perfect primer for anyone new to the blogosphere, and for us veterans, a priceless reference tool.  My blog, A Fine Kettle of Fish (http://afinekettleoffish.blogspot.com) would likely be categorized as the â€œshort articleâ€? format.  I only post once a week, but each of my posts â€“ on direct marketing and advertising â€“ typically runs about 500 or so words.  One other advantage to the â€œshort articleâ€? format, by the way, is that your posts can also be run as â€œstandaloneâ€? articles elsewhere.  On a number of occasions, other media have re-published my individual posts, broadening my â€œreachâ€? and drawing new readers to my blog.
