		<description>Good point, Simon. Indeed, if dealing with comment spam becomes very onerous for me, then I would probably strip out all links from comments to my blog (provided there's an easy way to do that in Movable Type, which I use) before I would disable comments entirely.

		<description>That's the exact kind of scenario in which I would advocate stripping ALL links from your comments. If the choice is between dropping comment support entirely or banning links from comments the latter is definitely preferable, no matter how draconian it may seem.
